Youth Mental Health Workshop

Youth Mental Health Workshop

Are you a young person aged between 16 and 25?

We are wondering…what are you experiencing when you seek out mental health support for yourself or so you can support your friends?

We need to know so we can make a plan that helps to improve the mental health system (learn more). We will then give it to the decision makers.

You’re invited to a workshop with Burnie Works and Youth, Family and Community Connections, to look at the mental health system. What is working and what is not. What are the challenges?

We will do this in a creative way, so you won’t be put in any awkward positions or need to share your own story. We will use creative tools and it will be fun and safe!

The work we do in this workshop will be used at a workshop later in November which will involve more of the community and service providers.

We need to hear your voice first!

WHEN: Monday 20 November 3:30pm to 5pm
WHERE: YFCC Burnie Junction (129 Wilson Street, opposite Maccas near Dave’s Noodles).

Snacks will be provided.
