Burnie Works is extending the invitation for some Visual Note Taking training we currently have available.
This opportunity has come about through our Community Knowledge Collector Project (CKCP), which is about to officially kick off its recruitment stage.
Visual scribing is fast becoming recognised as an important method of capturing information.
We have the opportunity for 10 more places in this basics training, with 8 then being selected based on connection to the Community Knowledge Collection project and interest to go onto a wall scribing workshop.
Ideally, we are looking for participants who may have an interest in the Community Knowledge Collector Project – BUT, we are open to expressions of interest from those that see this training as beneficial to your work.
Additionally, if you know of a community member whom you could see doing this kind of thing, please have them reach out also.
The idea is that we can create a small team of locals that may be able to service our area in this skill, so this may lead to casual paid opportunities or be used as a way to imbed this in your organisations work.
If you are unsure what visual notetaking is, please watch this short clip (578) What is a Visual Scribe?
Read the Visual Note Taking information flyer explaining the training…if this sparks an interest of any sort, please get in touch to discuss further!!
Feel free to get in touch with any further queries.
