It was fantastic to see students talking about their future at last week’s information session.
How did this event come about?
- Conversations – between Burnie Works and Hellyer College
- Issue identified – students need support after they leave college to enable a smooth transition in to work
- Idea – invite our partners to be involved in an event so we can connect the students before they leave!
- Outcome – we hope that students will make connections with organisations and people who can help them beyond Year 12
