The Mission Australia Youth Survey is Australia’s largest annual survey of young people and today it has released its 2022 Survey Report revealing that the environment (51.0%), mental health (33.5%), and equity and discrimination (31%) topped the issues young people in TASMANIA aged 15 to 19 want Australia to address in 2022.
Burnie Works partnered with Mission Australia enabling BURNIE to have a unique survey link so that we will be able to see our own data. View the Mission Australia Youth Survey – Burnie Report
We can see that key messages that have come out of the Mission Australia Youth Survey reflect recent conversations with youth in Burnie through the Burnie response for the Tasmanian Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy and the work we have been doing with the Burnie City Youth Council.
We look forward to continuing the work with the State Government on the strategy, using placed based thinking in our response and linking to the work of Mission Australia.Burnie Works Chair Chris Lynch
