Burnie Works Ltd was rebranded in June 2021 which coincided with the collective impact initiative becoming it’s own entity. Burnie Works was originally hosted by the Burnie City Council in the Community and Economic Development Department. The Working Type is a short film that shows how Burnie Works tapped into the story of it’s upbringing to forge it’s own identity. Burnie Works is now a not for profit organisation and has strong support from Burnie City Council, the State and Federal Government and philanthropists to work with Burnie stakeholders and community members on a shared agenda, to create positive change for future generations in pataway Burnie.
