The BIG Committee were pleased to have Education Minister Roger Jaensch MP join them for their October meeting.
The Committee gave a presentation on their vision, mission, objectives and activities, and provided feedback on the recent Hellyer Regional Collective Industry Forum.
The Committee also shared with the Minister how his department might better support local placed based initiatives, and discussed how other communities can be assisted to grow their own local initiatives such as BIG and Burnie Works.
